Alexa Kwon

Hi, I’m Alexa! I'm a Communications Specialist at Boston University's Institute for Global Sustainability (IGS), where I coordinate communications strategies and develop content to bring IGS's sustainability research to key audiences within and beyond BU.

I’ve previously supported marketing and communications at Green Century, managed the social media content calendar at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and coordinated urban agriculture programs at the City of Boston.

 

I also volunteer as a mentor for young Asian American girls through ASPIRE and previously taught horticulture to incarcerated students through The New Garden Society.

Outside of work, I stay active through boxing, yoga, lifting, and running, and I love spending time outside hiking, gardening, and putting together floral arrangements for the people I love.
